Skirting the Issue?
Dale Miller, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock employee who prefers wearing skirts instead of traditional male pants, is no longer attending Little Rock’s Immanuel Baptist church. Miller says that when Rev. Rex Horne, the church’s senior pastor, learned Miller favors skirts, he wanted Miller off the church’s media ministry team that helps broadcast services on a local television station. Next, Miller was asked to quit “dressing” up for church. Miller says he doesn’t want to cause problems or go where he’s not wanted. Horne didn’t return phone calls left at his office.
