Skirt-chasing redefined: Dale Miller’s Web site

Some people use classified ads to find love. Some people use Web sites.
Dale Miller uses both. Miller, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock systems programmer previously profiled in Paper Trails, is a male who enjoys wearing skirts.
Miller, 39, explains his fancy and shows off his skirt styles at: http://www.aristotle.net/~domiller.
He also runs classified advertisements with this newspaper directing potential lovers to his site. The site features numerous pictures — some in provocative poses — of him and, in some shots, women from various Hooters restaurants around the country.
“I thought I’d put something out there and see what happened,” Miller says. He’s had the site for a couple of years, but Miller only recently began the advertising. It has produced two calls.
“They were actually both men that called me,” Miller says. “I told them that, ‘Sorry, I’m looking for women.’ ”
In fact, Miller lists precisely what kind of woman he wants. He also lists various links to his site, including Jade Hosiery Ltd. and Stitchboy-Swim Thong.
Miller lists an extensive personality profile that explains many of his needs and desires. “I’m a computer nerd who got fed up with trying to be ‘normal,’ ” he says.
The Web site even includes such fascinating technological tidbits as a photographic view of UALR visible from Miller’s office. It’s automatically updated every two minutes.
So far there have been 33,000 hits at the site since Miller started keeping count.
